ODS Server

The Cibenix ODS Server provides three primary functions:

  • To initially provision, and subsequently manage, the Cibenix ODS Client population
  • To provision and manage dynamic content to the client population, in order to support multiple applications such as Offline Portal, Device Storefront, Service Launcher and Widgets
  • To provide a single point of integration and management to the operator’s Service Delivery Platform e.g. content ingestion, subscriber management, advertising and customer relationship management

Content Ingestion and Provisioning

The Cibenix server supports content ingestion from multiple sources such as the online portal, operator content management system, third party content providers and advertisers. In each case, flexible and open interfaces are supported, allowing the operator to deploy the ODP as a seamless extension to already available Internet, Messaging and WAP delivery channels.

The extensible Cibenix server architecture allows ingested content to be provisioned across the entire ODS client population, independently of device OS and/or device type.

Infrastructure Integration

The Cibenix ODS Server has been architected to integrate with the operators existing Service Delivery Platform through the use of a Service Oriented Architecture that easily exposes the functionality of core Cibenix ODS Server services.

Centralised Client Management and Provisioning

All aspects of ODS operation are managed through a web-based administration interface, providing the operator with fine-tuned control over content management and provisioning, platform configuration, statistics and reporting.
