As an example, Mobilink in Pakistan launched the Cibenix ODS solution across over 300 devices - from high-end smartphones to medium- and low-end feature (java) devices. No other vendor can offer this device footprint.
The Cibenix ODS Client powers the deployment of multiple ODS applications by delivering device and network integration, personalisation, advertising and reporting – in a consistent fashion across all applications.
User Interface
A very lightweight UI model allowing complex interfaces to be built from simple UI building blocks – supporting intuitive and consistent navigation of content and services, with engaging transitions, animations and user interaction. And all of this delivered across multiple device platforms – Symbian, Windows Mobile, Blackberry, Android and Java.
Data Management
The ODS Client provides sophisticated caching and management of ODS content and other data – supporting rapid and seamless user interface rendering in an offline environment. And user preferences, usage statistics and advertising interaction and click-through are all managed consistently within the client, and can be returned to the ODS Server in order to drive revenue reconciliation and targeted content delivery.
Network and Device Management
The ODS Client is deployable across multiple device platforms. For each platfrom, the ODS Client delivers transparent network communciation and management, and manages all interaction with the underlying device capabilitites -gallery and multimedia playback, application launching, voice and messaging, and roaming control.
