Management Team

Michael Brady – Chief Executive Officer

Mike has over twenty-five years experience in the telecoms and Internet industries, having held a range of senior management roles including CEO and VP Sales & Marketing. He was founder and CEO of ANAM Wireless Internet Solutions, a Dublin based company delivering infra-structure and mobile content products in the area of SMS, MMS and WAP. Previous to that he was CEO of SSE, the Siemens Internet security subsidiary. Other experience includes thirteen years of consulting experience to blue chip clients in Europe and Middle East. Mike holds a BSc (Physics) from University College Dublin.

Paul Keogh – CTO

Paul has worked in the software industry for the past twenty five years and has held a number of executive and technical roles in Internet and Mobile product companies. Prior to Cibenix, Paul consulted to Meteor Mobile Communications on a major billing replacement project. He was founder and CTO of Anam Wireless Internet Solutions (later Anam Mobile) and has also held senior positions with Siemens and Eircom. Paul holds a BSc in Engineering and Computer Science from Trinity College Dublin and a Masters in Advanced Software Engineering from University College Dublin.

Owen Sullivan – Chief Operating Officer

Owen has twenty years experience in the telecoms and IT industries. He was Product Director at Worldzap, responsible for delivering mobile video solutions for leading operators and premium sports rights holders. Before that Owen was Network Manager at Aldiscon, a world leader in the SMS industry, and later acquired by Logica. Owen was co-founder of the SMS Forum and as chair of the WAP Forum (now OMA) Protocols Group, he led the team defining the over-the-air protocols currently used in millions of mobile handsets worldwide. Prior to joining Aldiscon Owen was an engineer with IBM. Owen is inventor of a number of patents across wireless access technologies. He holds a B.Comm from NUI Galway.

Andrew Robertson – VP Product Management

Andrew has over fifteen years experience in the telecoms and IT industries. He was VP Product Management with XIAM, the telecom software vendor delivering service delivery infrastructure to mobile operators worldwide. Previously he worked with Logica Mobile Networks where he held senior positions within product management and strategic R&D. He was also Product Manager with SSE, Siemens’ Internet security subsidiary. Andrew holds a BAI (Software Engineering) from Trinity College Dublin, and an MBA from the Smurfit Business School, University College Dublin.

Lorraine Warren – VP Engineering

Lorraine has over twelve years experience in the design, development, implementation and delivery of software products primarily in J2EE and database technologies. Lorraine has spent the last 5 years working in the Mobile space. She has held management and development positions with Factor-e, the financial solutions provider to First-e, the first Internet-only bank in Europe. Prior to this she worked as an engineer with Speedwing, a consultancy formed by a joint venture between Logica and British Airways. Lorraine holds an Advanced Diploma in Project Management from Dublin Business School and a BSc in Applied Physics from Dublin City University.

Gerry Kelly – Chief Finance Officer

Gerry is a qualified Chartered Accountant, and completed his training with KPMG in the late seventies. Gerry has extensive international experience in the software sector. In 1996 he sold an e-banking software company he had founded with a number of partners to Misys plc. He took up the position of head of Misys global e-banking division, which he ran from 1996 to 2001. Gerry also holds non-executive directorships with a number of European based companies.
