Cibenix announces Chief Technical Officer

Dublin, Ireland, 9th December 2004 - Cibenix, a leading provider of service discovery solutions for mobile operators, today announced the appointment of Dr. Ian Cullimore as Chief Technical Officer.

Ian brings over twenty years' experience in operating system and mobile device design and innovation, enabling Cibenix to build on its existing reputation as a trusted technology leader.

Ian has held positions in major UK and US corporations, including Novell and Xircom, and was one of the first engineers at Psion. He was a founder and CTO of D.I.P. (where he created the world's first "pocket computer", subsequently brought to market as the Atari Portfolio), founder and CTO of Silicon Valley's Poqet Computer Corporation (subsequently acquired by Fujitsu), and founder and CTO of Informal Software, which created and commercialised the concept of "Informal Interfaces" for human computer interaction.
