The Cibenix ODP Server provides a single point of management and provisioning for the Cibenix ODP Client population, and a single point of integration into the mobile operator's existing operating environment.

The Server has two primary functions:

• The update of the Cibenix ODP Client base, to ensure content synchronisation with the operator's online portal
• The management of information received from the client base to build intelligence on subscriber preferences and devices

The Cibenix ODP Server is deployed between the operator's Content Management System (CMS) - or content portal - and the Cibenix ODP Client. The Server performs the task of synchronising the operator's online portal with the Client "offline portal". The content portal is continuously monitored for any changes and when change is detected it is propagated to the Client.

The integration of the operator's portal with the Cibenix ODP Server is designed to be low touch in that the synchronisation is achieved through configuration of the Server without the need to modify the existing operator's portal.

The Cibenix ODP Server can synchronise with content from multiple sources - with the operator's main CMS and/or directly with 3rd party content providers.

The Cibenix ODP Server will also seamlessly integrate with the operator's existing CRM and Customer Care systems, to ensure that these systems can be fully utilised in driving service discovery.
